I began designing contemporary rugs in 1996.

Working with surfaces, patterns, and weaving techniques was extremely stimulating; it felt like exploring a whole new language.

In India, I discovered a cultural and artisanal heritage that fascinated me deeply, where experimentation with new textures, techniques, and yarns continues to this day in the constant pursuit of modernity.
